Songs to be made, the Secret of a Treasure

A first meeting between an idol of the song and a young fan of his who dreams of becoming like him someday, serves as a starting point for a unique story, when the idol gives his fan a cassette containing some melodies hummed a capella by himself, and others with guitar accompaniment: the «Songs to be made». A cassette that, from that moment on, becomes the protagonist of a whole odyssey that, without either of the two characters knowing or imagining it at the time, is acquiring great relevance, in the midst of anonymity.

A story based on true events that, by the way, shows us the human and vulnerable side of these two characters, united since then by that cassette that, for decades, kept a treasure of great value, a well-kept secret: the «Songs to be made» cassette that, in addition, contains a great message. A message of gratitude and forgiveness, including the idol’s advice to his ever faithful follower: “write a book with all that odyssey you have told me, but until I am gone from this world”.
